SMSGT Pappy Nine Toes is a guy who a lot could be said about. His first enlistment was with the U.S. Navy working out of the Danang, Republic of South Vietnam in the early 70's. After taking some time off in civilian Life, Duty once again called on him to serve his country and he answered that call, this time with the U.S. Air Force. Pappy served in Operation Enduring Freedom and then again in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has gone to Afghanistan to serve his country in 06 as he did in 2004 and 2005. How many of us looking at our lives could do the same at our age? On the front of his Harley their is a saying "Freedom isn't Free". To Brother Pappy Nine Toes, as you return again in Harm's way Brother, He has now been in the San a total of six times! He again leaves this May in 2008 fo his last tour WE hope. Bro, tell them your feet are starting to hurt or something:).
